Search using spotlight search

You can search for a Spotfire analysis from your device home screen using the Apple iOS "spotlight search" feature.

Spotfire adds information to the spotlight search index about analyses that you have opened on the device. This information includes the creator name, the title, description, creation date and last modified date, and web address.

You can search for words or phrases from the analysis title, the creator name, and the description.

Note: The search results show every item on the device that contains the word or phrase you search for, not just Spotfire analyses.

If you remove an analysis from the app, the analysis metadata is also removed from the spotlight search.
