You can run actions ad hoc from the Actions flyout, and actions that are part of an action mod that is saved in the library can be run directly from the library.
To run an action mod from the library:
On the authoring bar, click
Files and data 
.
In the flyout, click Spotfire library, and locate the action mod.
Right-click the action mod and select Run.
Response: A flyout showing the actions in the selected action mod is opened.
Select the action you want to run, and click Run/Next.
Response: The flyout will show any parameters that must be specified for the action.
Specify the parameters for the action and click Run.
The action is run.
Tip: If you want to save the configuration with the parameters you specify, you can enter a name for the configuration. The configuration will then be available on the Test tab of the Mods development tool as well as in the details view of the Actions flyout.
