Types of visualizations suitable for mobile experience
Not all visualizations available in Spotfire are suitable for viewing on a small-screen mobile device. We recommend only the following visualization types that are best for a mobile experience.
| Visualization type | Comments |

| Bar chart | If the bars need to be individually selectable, limit the number so selection is easier. |
| Combination chart | |
| Cross table | If the analysis contains no large hierarchies, the cross table works for mobile. |
| Data table or graphical table | Be sure to use a suitable sized font. |
| Line chart | |
| Map chart | Hide the layers control. |
| Pie chart | Generally a good pie chart has only three slices. The pie chart is the only visualization where we advise using a legend for mobile display. |
| Scatter plot | Should contain a minimal number of data points. |
| Tree map | Only a very simple tree map is suitable for mobile display. |
