Spotfire Statistics Services 12.2

This page lists system requirements for Spotfire® Statistics Services version 12.2.


Hardware
Processor	Minimum: 2 Cores (Intel Core i3 or equivalent), 2 GHz, 64-bit. Recommended: 4 Cores or more (Intel Xeon E5 or equivalent), 2 GHz or higher, 64-bit. Note: Only amd64 (also known as x64, x86_64) architecture is supported.
RAM	2 GB per core. Minimum: 4 GB. Recommended: 4+ GB (more recommended for improved performance).
Hard disk space	900 MB of disk space for the Spotfire Statistics Services files.
Network interface card	10/100 Network Interface Card (1 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) recommended for improved performance).


Software

TIBCO software	TIBCO Spotfire Analyst 12.2, with a Spotfire 12.2 deployment, supports connections from Spotfire Analyst and web client.² TIBCO® Enterprise Runtime for R (TERR™) 6.0.1³ For more information about Spotfire versioning and upgrades, see https://docs.tibco.com/pub/spotfire/general/LTS/spotfire_LTS_releases.htm.
Job databases	Default: H2 version 2.1.212; included. Also supported but not included; additional configuration required: Oracle (19c or later) Microsoft SQL Server (2014 or later) MySQL (5.7 or later)

Important: ¹ If you plan to run the TERR console under Spotfire Statistics Services on RHEL 8, Debian, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu, or SUSE Enterprise Linux 15, then before installing Spotfire Statistics Services, you must first install the library libtinfo.so.5, which TERR requires to run on those operating systems.

For RHEL 8, install the package ncurses-compat-libs.
For OpenSUSE and SUSE Enterprise Linux 15, install the package libncurses5.
For Debian and Ubuntu, install the package libtinfo5.
