Choose Columns

Choosing columns in Spotfire Metrics Modeler creates particular groupings of data in Spotfire Metrics.

Dimensions are the descriptive parts of a KPI.

Prerequisites

To display the Choose Columns page, you should have already added the KPI Library Information, and then clicked Next.

Note: You must set at least one dimension as a trend, as well as set one dimension as a measure in order to visualize the correct KPI on Spotfire Metrics.

Procedure

Specify the column details as follows.

Option	Description
Measures	Select the check box to specify the columns as measures.
Dimensions	Click Select for one or more columns to set as dimensions.
Filters	Select the check box to specify a column as a filter.

After you have specified the column details, click Next.

Result

The Configure Measures page appears, and columns selected as measures in the Choose Columns page are displayed for further configuration.
