Available information for troubleshooting job activity

The Automation Services area of Spotfire Server web administration pages provides a variety of information and links to help you understand any job execution issues.

To access the following information options, click the menu to the right of a job activity row.

  • Click Filter activity to this job to only show the selected job in the list.
  • To view related logs, click View logs. The Log files page identifies the service instance and node on which the activity occurred. Clicking the instance or node name opens the Nodes & Services page with that component selected.
  • To view the Activity details dialog of an activity, click Details. The left column of the dialog provides information about the scheduled job and the right column provides information about the Automation Services job file.
    Note: The Scheduled job name field is only applicable to scheduled jobs initiated on the server.
  • Click View scheduled job to locate the job from the activity in the Scheduled jobs page.
    Note: This option is only applicable to scheduled jobs initiated on the server.
  • Click Clear this activity to remove a job from the Job activity list.
