CPU usage is very high
If the level of CPU use is very high, the response times typically become longer for the end user, but the system still works.
If the level is high for long periods of time, consider scaling up the number of CPUs or adding more Web Player computers. For additional information, see Performance troubleshooting.
Possible Cause
- Web Player number of users. For more information, see Web Player service performance counters.
- Data loads (from Information Services).
Resolution
If these values are close to their maximum, do one or both of the following:
- Add more resources (for example memory, CPU, maximum number of connections in the connection pool).
- Scale out the system. For example, add another service instance.
