Use this parameter to set the maximum number of connections to keep in the connection pool. The default is 40.

To change the database connection pool size, use the command set-db-config. For general instructions, see Executing commands on the command line.

Increase the value setting if there are many concurrent, long-running requests in the system. Typically the requests are for downloading many different large library items from the Spotfire database.

If the server cannot connect to the database within the specified timeout (the default is 10 seconds), an error is logged, and in some cases the operation is retried.
