Manually editing the server configuration in the configuration tool

You can manually edit the active server configuration directly in the Spotfire configuration tool. This method of editing the configuration properties does not require you to export the configuration to an XML file.

Procedure

If the configuration tool is not open, open it; for instructions see Opening the configuration tool.
On the XML View page, click Edit.
Locate the sections that you want to change and make your edits. You can search using the box in the upper-right corner of the page.
When you've completed your edits, click Update.
On the Configuration page, click Save configuration.
