LDAP settings for email address retrieval
Statistica Enterprise supports the use of LDAP for accessing directory information over a network. Specifically, LDAP enables Windows domains user names to be used in place of explicit email addresses.

LDAP path

Enter the LDAP parameters for your network.

Define the LDAP Path such that it resolves to an Active Directory object that contains an LDAP attribute whose value is the desired email address. Specify the LDAP Attribute in the Attribute edit box. In defining the LDAP path, you can use replaceable strings such as %USERNAME or %FULLNAME, which will be replaced by the specific user’s user name or full name when looking up the email address.

For example, if your domain is test.microsoft.com, the LDAP path might look like:

LDAP://CN=%USERNAME,DC=test,DC=microsoft,DC=com

When looking up a specific user’s email address, the %USERNAME will be replaced with the user’s actual user name. For best performance, the LDAP path should be as specific as possible to narrow the search.

Then, in places where emails can be sent, such as in Statistica Enterprise Reports Output Options, MAS Alarm Rules and Actions, the Email Address section of the user's permission settings, etc., Enterprise usernames can be specified rather than actual email addresses.

Attribute

Enter the LDAP parameter on your network that designates the user ID.
