Monte Carlo Analysis - Model Tab

Select the Model tab of the Monte Carlo Analysis dialog box to access options to display the Path Tool or Path Wizards, open and create models, and specify parameters and group variables.

Path tool
Click the Path tool button to display the Path Construction Tool dialog box, a user-friendly interface specially designed for fast, error-free entry of path analysis programs.
Path wizards
Click the Path wizards button to display the SEPATH Wizard - Select Wizard dialog box and select one of the special Path Wizards. These Wizards lead you, step by step, through the construction of certain common types of path models.
Open model
Click the Open model button to display a standard Open File dialog box (Open Model Syntax) and open a *.cmd file for analysis and/or modification.
New model
Click the New model button to erase the current model (shown in the Analysis syntax box), and begin defining a new model.
Set parameters
Click the Set parameters button to display the Analysis Parameters dialog box in order to adjust the parameters for the analysis.
Specify groups
Click the Specify groups button to display the appropriate group specification dialog box. If your data file is a multiple group correlation or covariance matrix file, you can analyze one or several groups. Clicking this button displays the Specify Number of Groups dialog box, which is used to define the number of groups to be analyzed. If your data file is a raw data file, clicking the button displays the Specify Grouping Variable dialog box, which is used to specify a variable used to categorize the groups to be analyzed.
Analysis syntax
Enter the analysis model in the Analysis syntax box. You can type the model in directly. This can be especially useful if you want to format the text in the file to make it more readable or add last-minute comments. You can also use the Path Tool or Path Wizard to help you in creating it.
