Monte Carlo Analysis

Click the Monte Carlo button in the Structural Equation Modeling Startup Panel to display the Monte Carlo Analysis dialog box, which contains three tabs: Quick, Advanced, and Model.

A Monte Carlo experiment involves executing a specified number of replications of a statistical procedure. Each replication involves a complete analysis of a random sample created with certain characteristics, so Monte Carlo experiments can be very time consuming. You can terminate any Monte Carlo experiment prematurely with the esc key or by clicking the Cancel button.

OK
Click the OK button to begin the Monte Carlo experiment for the current model and display the Monte Carlo Results dialog box.
Cancel
Click the Cancel button to close the dialog box and return to the Startup Panel.
