Structural Equation Modeling Startup Panel

Ribbon bar. Select the Statistics tab. In the Advanced/Multivariate group, click Advanced Models and from the menu, select Structural Equation to display the Structural Equation Modeling Startup Panel.

Classic menus. On the Statistics - Advanced Linear/Nonlinear Models submenu, select Structural Equation Modeling  to display the Structural Equation Modeling Startup Panel.

The Startup Panel contains two tabs: Quick and Advanced. Note that there is no access to a variable selection dialog box in this module. Whatever variables are included in the model file are selected automatically for analysis. See also Structural Equation Modeling - Index)

OK (Run)
Click the OK (Run) button to test the current path model on the currently entered data, using the analysis options currently selected in the Analysis Parameters dialog box.
Cancel
Click the Cancel button to close the Startup Panel without performing an analysis.
Monte Carlo
Click the Monte Carlo button to display the Monte Carlo Analysis dialog box. The Structural Equation Modeling module has extensive capabilities for performing Monte Carlo analyses. Note that a model must be specified before you can access the Monte Carlo Analysis dialog box. If you need to modify the model prior to performing the analysis, you can use the Model tab of that dialog box.
Options
See Options Menu for descriptions of the commands on this menu.
Open Data
Click the Open Data button to display the Select Data Source dialog box, which is used to choose the spreadsheet on which to perform the analysis. The Select Data Source dialog box contains a list of the spreadsheets that are currently active.
Select Cases
Click the Select Cases button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog box, which is used to create conditions for which cases will be included (or excluded) in the current analysis. More information is available in the case selection conditions overview, syntax summary, and dialog box description.
