Structural Equation Modeling Results

Structural Equation Modeling

Click the OK button in the Iteration Results dialog box to display the Structural Equation Modeling Results dialog box, which contains four tabs: Quick, Advanced, Assumptions, and Residuals. You can use the options described below regardless of which tab you have selected.

Summary box
The Summary box presents a number of results that can be scanned to determine, quickly and efficiently, (a) whether iteration concluded successfully, and (b) how well the model fit the data. For a description of the results presented here, see Statistics in the Structural Equation Modeling Results Summary Box.
Copy button Click the Copy button to copy either the selected text (if text has been selected) in the Summary box or all of the text (if no text has been selected) to the Clipboard. Note that the copied text retains formatting information (such as font, color, etc.).
Contract/Expand button Click the Contract/Expand button to contract or expand the Summary box. When contracted, you can see only one line of the Summary box text and can scroll through the text using a scroll bar. Note that when contracted the text is scrolled so that the first non-blank line is at the top. When expanded (the default setting), the entire Summary box will be displayed on the Results dialog box.
Summary
Click the Summary button to open the model summary spreadsheet, which presents model output in a spreadsheet form convenient for analysis. A variety of information is given for each path in the model. For a description of the spreadsheet, see Model Summary Spreadsheet.
Cancel
Click the Cancel button to close the dialog and return to the Startup Panel.
Options
Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
p-value for highlighting
Enter a cutoff value for p in the p-value for highlighting field. This option controls highlighting of paths in the Model Summary Spreadsheet. Choose a value greater than zero and less than one. The default value is .05. The general logic of significance testing is described in Elementary Concepts.
