Model Summary Spreadsheet

The model summary spreadsheet presents model output in a spreadsheet form convenient for analysis. You can access this spreadsheet by clicking the Summary button in the Structural Equation Modeling Results dialog box or by clicking the Model Summary button on the Quick or Advanced tabs of the Structural Equation Modeling Results dialog box.

For each path in the model, the following information is given:

Path Representation
Each row of the spreadsheet begins with the PATH1 representation of the model statement.
Parameter Value
This is the actual numerical value of the parameter estimate.
Standard Error
The estimated standard error of the parameter estimate.
T-Statistic
Actually, this should more properly be called the "asymptotic normal statistic," as it does not actually have a Student's t distribution. It represents a test of the hypothesis that the parameter value is zero. Rejecting the hypothesis implies that the parameter value is not zero, and should be included in the model. By this criterion, paths that are "significant" at the selected level are highlighted. The p-value for highlighting can be altered via the p-value for highlighting option in the Structural Equation Modeling Results dialog box.
Probability Level
This is the standard normal probability level for the T-Statistic.
