Assign Item Names and Synonyms to Variables
Click the Assign taxonomy variables button on the Link Analysis Startup Panel - Taxonomy tab to display this dialog.
- Item names and synonyms
- This list displays the item names and synonyms and the ignore list.
- Variables
- This list displays variable names and types in the current data set (whether selected or not).
- Assigned names or synonyms
- Displays the list of assigned names and synonyms.
- Assigned variables
- Displays the list of assigned variables.
- OK
- Click this button to make the taxonomy assignments permanent.
- Cancel
- Click this button to cancel the taxonomy assignments and close the dialog.
- Assign
- To assign a name or synonyms to a variable, select the item name or synonyms together with the corresponding variable and click the Assign button. The assigned name/synonyms and variable name will be displayed in the Assigned names or synonyms and Assigned variables lists.
- Unassign
- To cancel an assignment, select an item in the Assigned names or synonyms list and click this button.
