Link Analysis Startup Panel

Ribbon bar. Select the Data Mining tab. In the Rule Extraction group, click Link Analysis to display the Link analysis Startup Panel.

Classic menus. Select Sequence, Association, and Link Analysis from the Data Mining menu to display the Link analysis Startup Panel.

For sequential association (sequence) analyses, the Startup Panel contains six tabs: Quick, Advanced, Sequence, Taxonomy, Nonsequential, and Project. For non-sequential association (association) analyses, only the Quick, Advanced, Taxonomy, and Project tabs are applicable.

OK

After specifying analysis options, click the OK button to begin the Sequence, Association, and Link (SAL) analysis, extract rules (association or sequence), and display the Link Analysis Results dialog box.

Cancel

Click this button to close the Link analysis Startup Panel without performing an analysis.

Open Data

Click the Open Data button to display the Select Data Source dialog box, which is used to choose the spreadsheet on which to perform the analysis. The Select Data Source dialog box contains a list of the spreadsheets that are currently active.

Select Cases

Click the Select Cases button to display the Analysis/Graph Case Selection Conditions dialog box, which is used to create conditions for which cases will be included (or excluded) in the current analysis. More information is available in the case selection conditions overview, syntax summary, and dialog box description.
