Taxonomy Tab

Select the Taxonomy tab of the Link analysis Startup Panel to replace single non-informative IDs with real and informative names.

Use taxonomies for hierarchical association analysis

Select this check box to use taxonomies for the association analysis. This will enable you to select taxonomy codes for replacing single non-informative ID numbers with real and informative names.

Data file for taxonomies

Click this button to display a standard Open data file dialog where you can specify a data set for assigning taxonomy variables (see below).

Assign taxonomy variables

Click this button to display the Assign item names and synonyms to variables dialog, which is used for taxonomy assignment.

Remove original item labels when taxonomies are applied

Select this check box to exclude the original (non-informative) item IDs from the final results.
