Predictor Screening Results - Save Tab

Select the Save tab of the Predictor Screening Results dialog box to access these options.

Best predictors. Use the options in this group box to specify how to save the results associated with the best predictor variables.

Element Name Description
Number of predictors to save Based on the criterion to sort the predictors specified on the Advanced tab of the Predictor Screening Startup Panel, specify the number of predictors to save.
Save predictors to variable bundle Click this button to save the original predictor variables to a variable bundle.
Coded variables Use the following options to specify how to save results associated with the optimally binned predictor variables.
Add coded variables to spreadsheet Click this button to append the optimally binned predictor variables to the input spreadsheet.
Save to variable bundle Select this check box to add the optimally binned predictor variables to a variable bundle.
Save as data recode conditions Click this button to save recode conditions that define the optimally binned predictor variables to an .ini file. These files can be used to deploy the optimal bins to new data. For deployment, display the Recode Values of Variable dialog box:
Ribbon bar Select the Data tab. In the Transformations group, click Recode.
Classic menus From the Data menu, select Recode.

In the Recode Values of Variable dialog box, click the Open button to display the Open Conditions dialog box, from which you can select the saved file (containing all of the recode categories).
