Click the OK button in the Predictor Screening Startup Panel to display the Predictor Screening Results dialog box, which can contain up to four tabs, depending on the variables that are selected: Categorical response, Continuous response, Binary response, and Save.
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
Summary | This button is available regardless of which tab is selected. Click the Summary button to produce a variable importance spreadsheet for each selected response variable. Each spreadsheet will sort the predictors according to the criterion specified on the Advanced tab of the Predictor Screening Startup Panel. |
Cancel | This button is available regardless of which tab is selected. Click the Cancel button to close the Predictor Screening Results dialog box and return to the Predictor Screening Startup Panel. |
Options | This button is available regardless of which tab is selected. Click the Options button to display the Options menu. |
Categorical Response Tab
Select the Categorical response tab of the Predictor Screening Results dialog box to access these options.
Element Name | Description |
---|---|
Summary: Variable importance | Click this button to produce a variable importance spreadsheet with the predictors sorted according the criterion specified on the Advanced tab of the Predictor Screening Startup Panel. |
Results | This group box contains options to display the results of the predictor screening analysis for the selected categorical response variable. |
Select predictor | From this drop-down list, select a specific predictor to display results for, or select All predictors to display output for all selected predictors. |
Crosstabulation | Click this button to create a two-way crosstabulation table between the categorical response and the optimally binned predictor variable. |
Interaction plot of frequencies | Click this button to create an interaction plot. The interaction line plot displays the distributions of frequencies for each level of the response across different levels of the optimally binned predictor, which enables you to identify interactions and main effects easily. |
Categorized histograms | Click this button to create a categorized histogram of the categorical response and the selected optimally binned predictor variable. |
3D Histograms | Click this button to create a 3D histogram of the categorical response and the selected optimally binned predictor variable. |
