General Classification and Regression Trees Syntax Editor

Select Analysis syntax editor on the General Classification and Regression Trees Startup Panel - Quick tab and click the OK button to display the General Classification and Regression Trees Syntax Editor . The editor contains two tabs: Keywords and Specifications. Use the Syntax Editor to enter command syntax to completely specify the analysis design, as well as various parameters that are used in the computations. See also, GC&RT Models Syntax - Overview.

Cut/Copy/Paste: You can use the standard Cut, Copy, and Paste editing operations in the Analysis syntax window; these operations can be accessed by clicking on the respective buttons or via the standard keyboard shortcuts.
Analysis syntax: Available keywords can be typed directly into the Analysis syntax window or entered by clicking the respective buttons on the Keywords tab to insert them in the Analysis syntax window at the location of the cursor.
OK (Run): Click the OK (Run) button to the run the analysis and display the C&RT Results dialog box.
Cancel: Click the Cancel button to close the editor and return to the General Classification and Regression Trees Startup Panel.
Options: Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
Open: Click the Open button to open previously saved text (command syntax) files.
Save As: Click the Save As button to save the current analysis syntax to a text file. Those text files can be edited by practically all text editing and word processing software.
