Before You Begin
To maintain the uniformity , the following terms have been used in the TIBCO BusinessEvents Studio UI and the product documentation:
- TIBCO ActiveSpaces version 2.x software is referred as Legacy ActiveSpaces.
- TIBCO ActiveSpaces version 4.5 and above software is referred as ActiveSpaces.

Rule Management Server Prerequisite
TIBCO BusinessEvents Rule Management Server (RMS) works only with Legacy ActiveSpaces.
