AMS User Tasks

The TIBCO® Artifact Management Server, hereafter, AMS, is a server-based component that manages the life cycle of artifacts, which are tables of rules that users can create, modify, and delete, subject to an approval process that AMS also provides. Users interact with AMS through its web client.

Disclaimer: Although AMS can also store artifacts whose business rules contain TIBCO BusinessEvents syntax, the TIBCO Artifact Management Server is a separately licensed and installed product that should not to be confused with TIBCO® BusinessEvents Rules Management Server. For more information about the Rules Management Server, refer to the BusinessEvents Rules Management Server documentation.

The following topics explain how to use AMS to manage the artifact life cycle. For explanatory purposes, all tasks and available options are described assuming a user assigned the administrator role is performing them, unless otherwise noted.
