DataWatch Desktop 12 Workbooks (earlier versions of the product are Panopticon Workbooks versions 6.x and earlier) are fully supported by LiveView Desktop's Workbook Viewer view. If you have DataWatch Desktop (or Panopticon Designer) installed on the same machine as LiveView Desktop, you can import an existing workbook. The only data tables supported in Workbooks are those using the StreamBase CEP and StreamBase LiveView choices. Other data tables (such as Excel, text, or any other table format) will not load. StreamBase LiveView and CEP data tables will stream data just as they do in Desktop or Designer.
For information on changing default character encoding, see Changing Character Encoding.

-
Use the DLL from LiveView 1.4.0.3. If you have never installed LiveView 1.4, contact TIBCO StreamBase support at sbsupport@tibco.com for the correct file.

Copy the StreamBase.LiveView.API.dll and StreamBase.SB.Client.dll into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Panopticon\EX\Plugins directory. These files are normally found at
$STREAMBASE_HOME$/bin

If the plug-in remains unavailable or causes errors, check the
log.txt
file (%APPDATA%\Panopticon\EX
) for errors.
