You can copy a distribution from one deployment area to another
when you are ready to move it from a test area to a production area, or if you
want to create a new deployment based on an existing one.
Procedure

Log in to the
Spotfire Server
web administration pages and click
Deployments & Packages.

In the
Deployment areas pane, click the deployment area
that contains the distribution you want to copy.

In the upper-right pane, click
Copy distribution.

In the
Copy distribution dialog, do one of the
following:
- Select
Copy to new deployment area.
- Select
Copy to existing deployment area and
choose the deployment area to overwrite with the copied distribution.
Results
When you select the
new or updated deployment area in the
Deployment areas pane, the copied software packages
are displayed under
Software packages.
