You can edit the contents of any of your deployment areas.
Procedure

Log in to the
Spotfire Server
web administration pages and click
Deployments & Packages.

In the
Deployment areas pane, click the deployment area
from which you want to remove packages.

In the
Software packages pane, select the check boxes
for the packages you want to remove, and then click
Remove packages.

Review the changes and, if you are happy with the result, click
Save area.
Package validation is automatically triggered and you cannot
save the area if you remove any required packages. If something is wrong,
Add packages that are missing or
Revert all changes.
