ITrees Results

Click the OK button in the ITrees Extended Options dialog box to display the ITrees Results dialog box. Use these options to review and grow the tree automatically, interactively, or using a combination of strategies. For detailed descriptions of the results options available in this dialog box, refer to the General CHAID Models Results dialog box topic or the General Classification and Regression Trees (GC&RT) Results dialog box topic, depending on the Model building method selected on the Interactive Trees Startup Panel - Quick tab.

This dialog box can contain a varied number of tabs, according to the options selected in the Startup Panel: Manager - Use the options on this tab to interactively grow, prune, and review the tree; Summary - Use the options on this tab to review in detail the results for the current tree; Classification - Use the options on this tab to review results statistics and graphs applicable to classification problems; Prediction - Use the options on this tab to review in detail the predicted values and classifications and related statistics in results spreadsheets and graphs (including Lift charts for binary classification problems); Report - Click the Code generator button on this tab to create computer code in various languages to apply the rules for computing predictions or predicted classifications for new observations (deployment; see also Data Mining, Rapid Deployment of Models).

Note: The options described here are available in the ITrees Results dialog box regardless of which tab is selected.
Element Name Description
New tree Note that this button is disabled when the Collect sensitivity analysis data check box is selected on the Advanced tab of the ITrees C&RT Extended Options dialog box. Click the New tree button to duplicate the current tree in a new tree project. In other words, this option will open another instance of STATISTICA Interactive Trees (C&RT, CHAID) and automatically load the current tree in its current "state," with all selections and splits. This option is useful to perform what-if analyses simultaneously on several "versions" of the tree for the same analytic problem.
Close Click the Close button to return to the Interactive Trees Specifications dialog box.
Options Click the Options button to display the Options menu.
