System parameters for troubleshooting
These Spotfire system parameters are frequently adjusted in response to common issues.
- Database connection pool size
Use this parameter to set the maximum number of connections to keep in the connection pool. The default is 40. - Information Services maximum job queue length
To ensure that a queued job is processed as soon as another job is finished, set this value higher than the maximum number of concurrent jobs. - Information Services concurrent jobs
Use this parameter to set the maximum number of job worker threads that are available for information link jobs. The default is40
. - Information Services data source connection pool size
Use these parameters set the minimum and maximum number of database connections that are created for a given data source. - Backend connector threads
Use this parameter to set the maximum number of threads that are available to accept requests from Spotfire clients. The default is200
. - Attachment manager cache
The Spotfire attachment manager caches library content and the results of information link executions when downloading or saving large amounts of data. - Number of Web Player instances for scheduled updates
The resource pool that is associated with a scheduled update determines the number of Web Player instances that are available to open an analysis. - Scheduled updates disk cache
Use this parameter to determine whether updated analysis files are cached so that the files reopen quickly after a Web Player is restarted. This feature is disabled by default.
