Editing Model Artifacts
TIBCO Streaming Model Management Server (MMS) has a text editor to manage your model file's content or artifact properties. In practice, it may be more efficient to create and edit your file in the model's native editor before importing the file into MMS for editing, management, or deployment.
Editing Model File Artifacts Using the Text Editor
For binary model files, the Artifact Editor can display its artifact properties but not its model contents. The steps for editing model artifacts are given below:
- On the Project Explorer window, select an artifact for editing.
Note: Only supported model artifact types can be edited using the built-in text editor. For more information, see Supported Artifact Types.
-
To configure the artifact properties, right-click the artifact and select Properties.
-
To save your changes, select File>Save from the top-level menu bar, or press the keyboard shortcut for your platform. For the desktop client, press Ctrl+S on Windows or Linux, and Command+S on macOS. For the web client, press Ctrl+S. Changes are saved locally and are not yet visible to other users. To share your changes with other users, you can create a checkpoint and then publish it. Once a checkpoint is published, it is visible to all users.
