Nonsequential Tab
Select the Nonsequential tab of the Link analysis Startup Panel to select variables you want to exclude from the sequence analysis. The selected variables will be treated as non-sequential (to which only association rules will be applied). This tab is available only if the Non-sequential association analysis check box on the Quick tab is not selected.
- Non-sequential (N-S) Variables
- Click this button to display a three variable selection dialog where you can select the non-sequential (NS) variables for the analysis. Note that non-sequential variables cannot overlap with those selected via the Variables option on the Quick tab.
- Select single code for all NS dich
- This option is available only if at least one dichotomy variable is included in the analysis (see the documentation for the Variables option on the Quick tab). Select this check box, and double-click in the adjacent field to display a standard STATISTICA Code selection dialog where you can select a single code common to all dichotomy variables. Codes must be integer values or text labels (and can be dates, times, etc.).
- NS Multi dich. codes.
- This option is available only if at least one dichotomy variable is included in the analysis and the Select single code for all NS dich. (see above) check box is not selected. Click this button to display a standard STATISTICA Multiple Code selection dialog where you select individual codes for the dichotomy variables. Codes must be integer values or text labels (and can be dates, times, etc.).
