Interactive Drill-Down Explorer Startup Panel - Quick Tab

Select the Quick tab of the Interactive Drill-Down Explorer Startup Panel to access options to review summary statistics for the current drill-down variables. For more information, see also the Introductory Overview.

Auto-updating results after drill-down and drill-up If you selected the Auto-update all results check box in the Startup Panel, or the Create stand-alone spreadsheets check box on the Options tab (which will have the same effect, i.e., these two options are "linked" and selecting one will automatically select the other), the results spreadsheets and graphs selected on this tab will automatically be updated after each drill-down or drill-up operation to reflect the current drill-down "state," i.e., the observations selected by the drill-down conditions (variable-category pairs) that are currently applied to the data. Summary: Drill-down selections Click this button to display a spreadsheet with the currently active drill-down selections, i.e., this option provides a summary of the logical selection conditions in effect for all other results statistics selected from this dialog.
Descriptive statistics for drill-down variables For continuous drill-down variables in the Drill-down variables list (i.e., variables that have not been used for a drill-down operation yet, and hence have not been moved to the Drill-up variables list), this option will display a results spreadsheet with summary descriptive statistics.
Frequency tables for drill-down variables Click this button to compute frequency tables for the variables in the Drill-down variables list (i.e., variables that have not been used for a drill-down operation yet, and hence have not been moved to the Drill-up variables list).
Histograms for drill-down variables Click this button to compute histograms for the variables in the Drill-down variables list (i.e., variables that have not been used for a drill-down operation yet, and hence have not been moved to the Drill-up variables list).
Pie charts This option will compute pie charts for the variables in the Drill-down variables list (i.e., variables that have not been used for a drill-down operation yet, and hence have not been moved to the Drill-up variables list).
Save current raw data (all selected vars) Click this button to a stand-alone input spreadsheet (spreadsheet marked for input for subsequent STATISTICA analyses), containing only the cases (observations) selected by the current selection conditions as specified by previous drill-down/up operations (i.e., for the current drill-down "state"), and all variables currently selected for the analyses (i.e., variables for drill-down/up, and variables for review; see the Review tab). After creating this spreadsheet, you can now select any other statistical analysis from the Statistics menu, and automatically perform further analyses on this input spreadsheet, i.e., only on the cases selected by the drill-down operation.
