Setting Preferences in Spotfire Analytics for macOS

You can set preferences for setting a timeout value, tracking app usage, and capturing troubleshooting bundles for support.

About this task

Perform this task in Spotfire Analytics for macOS.

From the menu, click Spotfire > Preferences.
Click the Connection tab.
The Connection tab shows two options.
- Timeout: Set the length of time the app waits for a response from the server. The default is 60 seconds.
- SSO URL: Reserved for future use.
Click the Support tab.
The Support tab shows two options.
- Track app usage: Share usage data with Spotfire. (All data is anonymized and no sensitive information is sent.)
- Enable logging: Log application activity. See Setting preferences to capture support analytics for more information.
