Using Update Site

You can install the plug-in by using a public update site or a local update site.

Note:

To ensure that the uninstallation is completed successfully, you have to uninstall the plug-in from Eclipse Update Manager if the plug-in was installed by using a public update site or a local update site.
To install the plug-in by using a public update site or a local update site, ensure that the design time must be supported for your operating system platform.
p2 installer is available for only those platforms that support design time.
p2 installer is not supported for Migration profile.
