Installing JDBC Drivers

If you want to use the SAP TIDManager shared resource in active mode, you have to install JDBC drivers to connect to databases.

The following databases are supported:

  • Oracle
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • PostgresSQL Server

Note: At both design time and run time, the plug-in only uses the drivers in the BW_HOME/bw/version_number/config/design/thirdparty directory. If this directory does not exist, you have to create one and upload drivers to this directory.
Note: Native drivers are supported for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgresSQL Server.
