If you do not run a remote Tomcat server, start Mainframe WebUI locally.
Procedure
Start the Tomcat server in one of the following ways:
On Windows, from the Start menu, click
All Programs > TIBCO > WebUI_HOME > TIBCO Mainframe WebUI 2.1 > Start Tomcat.
A terminal window is displayed and shows that the Tomcat server is running.
On Linux or Mac OS, navigate to
/TIBCO_HOME/mainframe/WebUI/2.1.0/tomcat/bin, and then issue the
./startup.sh command.
The
Tomcat started message is displayed.
From the Start menu, click
All Programs > TIBCO > WebUI_HOME > TIBCO Mainframe WebUI 2.1 > Start Browser. Or open a web browser and go to
http://localhost:port number/MF_WebUI, where
port number is the one that you specified when you installed the product.
