Creating an HTTP Connector Shared Resource

The HTTP Connector shared resource is used to receive user event messages from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server for the Entity Event Source activity.

Procedure

  1. Expand the created project in the Project Explorer view.
  2. Right-click the Resources folder and click New > HTTP Connector to open the HTTP Connector wizard.
  3. The resource folder, package name, and resource name of HTTP Connector are provided by default. If you do not want to use the default configurations, change them accordingly. Click Finish to open the HTTP Connector editor.
  4. Configure the HTTP connection in the HTTP Connector editor.
Note: To use SSL to secure the message exchange between the plug-in and the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server, select the Confidentiality check box in the Security panel. See Configuring SSL for more details.
