Starting the Adapter

You can use the Adapter Launcher tool to start the adapter configuration in TIBCO Business Studio.

The SalesOrderOracle project includes the JmsSalesOrderDemo adapter configuration and RvSalesOrderDemo adapter configuration. The JmsSalesOrderDemo adapter configuration is tested in this guide.

Prerequisites

Ensure that the following conditions are met:
  1. The database connection information in the adapter configuration is updated.
  2. A working directory is specified to save the runtime adapter.

Procedure

  1. In the Project Explorer view, right-click the JmsSalesOrderDemo.adadbmodel adapter configuration.
  2. From the pop-up menu, click Run As > Adapter Launcher.
    A message similar to the following is displayed in the Console view when the adapter is started successfully.
