Supported Data Types

For TIBCO ActiveMatrix Adapter for Database (TIBCO Business Studio), DataDirect database drivers support different data types depending on the database conditions.

Note: If you select a database that contains data of the BIT type, the BIT data cannot be sent using TIBCO BusinessWorks. In Java, the smallest data type, other than boolean, are bytes. Generally, a byte needs 8 bits of space to be stored. So the bit column in the database cannot be less than 8 bits of space.
