System Options: Spreadsheet

Expand the System Options node in the tree view and select the Spreadsheet node to display the Spreadsheet options in the properties page.
 The following options are available:

  • A password option to lock spreadsheets to protect them from unauthorized editing
  • Options for enabling audit trails for changes that occur in the spreadsheet(s) as a result of user action and for requiring users to enter a reason for any changes made
  • Options for the default time stamp display format

Password to lock spreadsheets

Enter a password to prevent any user(s) from making any changes to the Statistica spreadsheet data when running an Analysis Configuration.

This password is only used if the specific Analysis Configuration has the Data Locking Options set as well.

Confirm Password

Re-enter the same password to confirm its accuracy (ensure that no mistakes were made when entering it initially).

Audit trail

The options in this group box pertain to how changes made to the spreadsheet are recorded and/or justified.

Enabled

Select this check box to enable audit trails and ensure that any changes made to the spreadsheet data are recorded in the audit log.

Prompt to enter reason for change

Select this check box to prompt users to enter the reason they are making a change to an object while performing a task that is being logged.

Changes that can be made include  the following:

Default time stamp display format

Use the options in this group box to specify a system-wide default time stamp display format.

Date

Select Date in the left pane, and select a format in the right pane.

Time

Select Time in the left pane, and select a format in the right pane.

Custom

    1. Select Custom in the left pane.
    1. Either select a format in the right pane, or create your own custom format in the edit box below the right pane.

Restore default

Click this button to restore Statistica s defaults.
