When you select the
Stop Responder option, you can stop all three MFT Platform Server Responder programs.
Prerequisites
You must have a high security level to stop all three MFT Platform Server Responder programs. MFT Platform Server Responder program server job names are:
CFRESP secure non-TLS server
CFRESPTLS secure TLS server
CFRESPTUN secure TLS Tunnel server
Procedure
Enter the command
GOCFADM on the command line.
In the
Administration Main Menu that opens, enter
7 on the command line.
In the
Responder Menu that opens, enter
2 on the command line.
Tip: Alternatively, enter the command
CFSTOPRSP
on the command line.
From the Stop Responder command,
To stop only the secure non-TLS responder, set the
Stop TLS Responder parameter to
*NO.
To stop only the secure TLS responder, set the
Stop TLS Responder parameter to
*YES and set the
TLS Protocol Type parameter to
*TLS.
To stop only the secure TLS tunnel responder, set the
Stop TLS Responder parameter to
*YES and set the
TLS Protocol Type parameter to
*TUNNEL.
To stop both the secure TLS and secure TLS tunnel responders, set the
Stop TLS Responder parameter to
*YES and set the
TLS Protocol Type parameter to
*BOTH.
To stop both secure non-TLS and secure TLS responders, set the
Stop TLS Responder parameter to
*BOTH and set the
TLS Protocol Type parameter to
*TLS.
To stop both secure non-TLS and secure TLS tunnel responders, set the
Stop TLS Responder parameter to
*BOTH and set the TLS Protocol Type parameter to
*TUNNEL.
To stop all three secure non-TLS and secure TLS and secure TLS tunnel responders, set the
Stop TLS Responder parameter to
*BOTH and set the
TLS Protocol Type parameter to
*BOTH.
The default secure non-TLS port is
46464. The default secure TLS port is
56565. The default secure TLS Tunnel port is
58585.
When the MFT Platform Server Responder programs are stopped, the Responder programs stop processing in the subsystem called QSYSWRK. The job names are CFRESP secure non-TLS server, CFRESPTLS secure TLS server, and CFRESPTUN secure TLS tunnel server.
