Wait Option Command Parameter Fields Process for Directory Transfer Request
Wait option fields indicate whether MFT Platform Server commands must wait until the MFT Platform Server parent directory transfer request process is completed or if the MFT Platform Server command process times out, message USR9998 or USR9999, which can be monitored by (MONMSG CL command) is issued.
All MFT Platform Server command wait option parameter fields are controlled by the user when using the MFT Platform Server commands to process the MFT Platform Server directory transfer request.
*NO or *YES can be selected for the Wait parameter field on the MFT Platform Server command. The parameter processes all MFT Platform Server directory transfer requests one at a time with a wait *YES to determine if each directory transfer request is successful or failed. The Directory Transfer Audit Summary Log and Output Report indicate either that each directory transfer request is successful or the directory transfer request has failed.
Wait Time Out Purge parameter field on the MFT Platform Server command is equal to *NO. And the directory transfer request had a timeout error. The MFT Platform Server command does not purge the directory transfer request transaction record out of the request queue file and does not move the directory transfer request transaction record into the audit log file. The directory transfer request transaction record status field value in the request queue file is equal to INACTIVE.
