Docker

You can containerize TIBCO FTL components and applications, and run them on hosts that support the Docker environment.

Docker containers provide a convenient way to migrate FTL applications to the cloud. You can use separate Docker images for the realm server, for each TIBCO FTL component (such as the persistence server), and for each of your FTL applications. The agent simplifies communication among these Docker containers.

You can copy and modify Docker images from TIBCO_HOME/ftl/version/docker-images.

Running in Docker containers requires an agent. For details, see Agents and the sub-topics that follow.
