Upgrading Realm Servers

Old and new realm servers can coexist during upgrade migration, which enables continuous service. The realm server maintains its database state on the file system, facilitating straightforward migration to new releases.

When upgrading a realm server, do not modify its realm definition as part of the upgrade.

During the upgrade, the realm server discards changes that are pending in the workspace.
