The primary server can designate satellite servers.
Procedure
Task A
Starting the Primary Server
If authentication is required, supply the
--server.user and
--server.password parameters, with credentials that the primary server can use to authenticate itself to the satellite servers.
Ensure that this user name is in the authorization group
ftl-primary.
Task B
Starting a Satellite Server
Supply the
--satelliteof parameter, indicating the location of the primary server (see
Connect Port).
If authentication is required, supply the
--server.user and
--server.password parameters, with credentials that the satellite server can use to authenticate itself to the primary server.
Ensure that this user name is in the authorization group
ftl-satellite.
