This parameter defines the unit name for the input tape file, and is only used when sending uncataloged tape files. This parameter is ignored for all RECEIVE transfers or for SEND transfers where the input data set is cataloged or on a disk.
This parameter does not have a default value.
Note: When this parameter is specified, the
IVOLUME parameter and
TAPE=YES must also be specified.
