The format of this function is
*comment_data. Wherein, the asterisk (*) denotes a comment. The asterisk (*) can be in any column, but must be placed before any characters. For example,
* this line is a comment.
Note: A comment might also begin with REM. This mimics TCS, which uses this notation for comments.
