Analyzing Structured Means Models, and Models with an Intercept Variable

This program can conveniently analyze models for structured means, and models with intercept variables. There are several examples of such models in the Structural Equation Modeling - Examples.

Procedure

  1. In order to analyze such models, you must activate the Moments option in the Data to Analyze group of the Analysis Parameters dialog.
  2. The program automatically adds a manifest variable called CONSTANT to the list of available manifest variables. You indicate structured means or intercept variables in your models by having paths from the CONSTANT variable.
