GLM Unique Features - Planned Comparisons of Least Squares Means

STATISTICA GLM provides several facilities for specifying planned comparisons of least square means; also described in the respective user interface sections (see the description of the Comparison tab of the Results dialog; see also the description of the Estimate option button in the Between effects group box of the Summary tab of the Results dialog). Specifically, GLM allows the user to specify planned comparisons for and test hypotheses about (estimable) population marginal means; note that the facilities for specifying those planned comparisons will clearly label the observed and missing cells in the design. GLM also has flexible options for testing hypotheses about linear combinations of effects.
