Migration Process Outline

The migration mechanism takes TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ 5.x projects and converts them to their equivalent in ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ 6.x.

The process flow in the project is migrated as is for the following:

  • The activities and their associated mappings
  • The transitions and their associated conditions
  • Groups

Note: While migrating projects, if a project rests in a multiple folder hierarchy structure and contains WSDLs, or schemas, or both, the folder names must be unique. If the folder names are not unique the project can run into design time issues due to incorrect namespaces and imports.
Note: For ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks 6.x, spaces are not allowed in the namespace.
