Prereporting Steps

Before reporting a CICS-initiated request or reply error, you have to finish the prereporting steps.

Procedure

  1. Set TRIG-TRCLVL=2 as the parameter in the CICS SIP member that executes the application.
  2. Set the trace level to 2 or higher on the trigger and recipe definitions for the CICS request or reply process.
  3. Refresh the trigger and recipe definitions or recycle Substation ES.
  4. Rerun the CICS request or reply application.

Result

Supply all the information from the log and trace files as well as from the relevant output in the CICS CEEMSG file and the Substation ES CICS error TDQ “SXQE”.
